Our client is a Boutique Consulting and Accounting firm serving a diverse portfolio of local and international clients across the iGaming, Forex, and eCommerce industries.

The firm is now seeking to hire an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its professional team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and complete accounting work in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Record and process journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, debtors/creditors reconciliations, and maintain the fixed asset register
  • Ensure all relevant provisions are recognized accurately throughout the year
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and quarterly VAT reconciliations/returns
  • Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to identify and escalate accounting issues appropriately
  • Supervise and guide junior staff, ensuring adherence to accounting procedures and internal tools
  • Report regularly to the Manager regarding project progress, challenges, and completion status
  • Coordinate with auditors and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English (Greek and Russian are an advantage)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good understanding of accounting software/database logic
