Role Overview

As the Payments Technical Lead in our Limassol office, you will play a central role in our global support team. You will handle complex payment-related issues, analyse transaction data, and work with merchants, acquirers, and internal teams to improve payment flows.

This role will require strong technical and analytical skills, a deep understanding of payment processing, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Support in Limassol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior technical point of contact in the Limassol office for global payment operations.
  • Investigate and resolve complex transaction issues, including authorisations, declines, chargebacks, refunds, and settlements.
  • Analyse payment data and system logs to identify patterns, optimise approval rates, and improve efficiency.
  • Support merchant onboarding, integration testing, and API configuration.
  • Collaborate with acquirers, card schemes, risk teams, product managers, and developers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Produce clear incident reports, root cause analyses, and performance dashboards.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and technical documentation.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a PSP, acquiring bank, or fintech environment.
