Position Overview:

We are looking for a Back Office Officer to support day-to-day client account operations, including Retail client's onboarding, maintenance, and transaction processing. This role ensures compliance with AML/KYC requirements across different accepted regions while maintaining accurate records and smooth communication across teams. This position suits someone with strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of financial operations, and a focus on delivering reliable support to both clients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify new retail customers by conducting thorough KYC/AML checks, including identity and residence authentication, financial activity validation, and source of funds analysis.
  • Handle updates to client profiles, including margin requirements, leverage settings and set-up of crypto and fiat account fees.
  • Oversee processing of client deposits and withdrawals (crypto and fiat), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Maintain and update electronic records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Stay current with relevant regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with international regulatory requirements, such as anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Support Team to address client inquiries and resolve issues related to account transactions and confirmations, statements, and general account information.
  • Deliver high-level customer service to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
  • Assists in monitoring and mitigating operational risks by conducting periodic reviews, identifying irregularities, and implementing appropriate controls and procedures.
  • Coordinates with Dealing, Compliance, and Finance teams, to ensure smooth operational workflows and unified communication across departments.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar Back Office role within the Forex industry or preferred financial services sector.
  • Solid understanding of Forex/Crypto trading operations.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, such as AML and KYC requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in using relevant software including accounting software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
