Junior Financial Products Analyst - Nicosia

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Financial Products Analyst to join our growing team. The purpose of the role is to analyse the offering of new financial products and maintain the competitiveness of our products at the highest level. The role will also provide opportunities to develop technical and analytical skills. We need a great team player with high attention to detail who is results-oriented.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Perform competitive analysis on all products and highlight potential improvements
  • Produce high quality reports on regular time internals for new financial products
  • Keep up to date with market information and monitoring trends in all instruments with emphasis on news announcements, earnings releases, and corporate actions
  • Ensure that clients have access to up-to-date market and pricing information
  • Obtain pricing from Liquidity providers
  • Monitor the functioning of all trading systems and platforms
  • Monitor spreads and their competitiveness on a daily basis
  • Monitor and maintain the costs related to the tradable instruments (swaps, commissions, spreads etc.) in line with the market standards
  • Cooperate closely and effectively with other departments as necessary

Main requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or any other relevant degree
  • CFA qualification or studying towards CFA is also considered an advantage
  • Experience in a similar position is considered an advantage
  • Working knowledge of different trading platforms (MT4, MT5) is also considered an advantage
  • Any programming skills (Python) will be considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of financial markets with emphasis on forex, equities, and futures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
