On behalf of our client, a leading software publisher with offices spanning across Europe and the United States, we are looking to recruit a Chief/Senior Accountant to join their team in Limassol. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience handling large volumes of financial data, performing reconciliations, and supporting budgeting processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage and reconcile large volumes of data across multiple accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, offering insights to aid strategic decision-making
  • Leverage advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) to efficiently process and analyse large datasets
  • Ensure all financial records are maintained in alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Work cross-functionally with various departments to support financial planning, reporting, and operational decision-making
  • Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Head of the Department to support overall financial operations

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling large volumes of financial data, reconciliations, and budget preparation
  • Experience with iGaming or PSP reconciliations is considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to clearly communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
