Senior Finance Manager

seeking on behalf of our client (Leading Group of Companies) a

Senior Finance Manager

(SFM 9297H5NI)-NICOSIA

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee our client

financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective

financial management, smooth day-to-day operations,

compliance, and reliable reporting to guide decision-making. The

Senior Finance Manager will act as second-in-command within the

finance department, taking responsibility for core functions and

supervising the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis

 Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration

with the Group CFO.

 Monitor financial performance against budgets and highlight

variances, risks, and opportunities.

 Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and

operational planning.

  1. Financial Operations & Control

 Manage day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, accounts

payable/receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow.

 Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and

documentation.

 Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company

assets.

  1. Reporting & Compliance

 Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts for

review by the Group CFO.

 Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits.

 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cypriot financial regulations and

accounting standards.

  1. Team Leadership & Development

 Supervise and guide finance officers and accountants, ensuring

tasks are delivered effectively and on time.

 Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team

members.

 Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

within the department.

  1. Business Support

 Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and operations

teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of projects.

 Provide financial input to support tendering, contract evaluation,

and new business initiatives.

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

 Master's degree or MBA.

 Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) highly preferred.

 Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or

accounting, including supervisory responsibilities.

 Strong knowledge of Cypriot tax laws, financial regulations, and

IFRS.

 Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP,

Navision, or similar).

 Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

 A collaborative and hands-on leader, with the ability to work under

pressure and meet deadlines.

Remuneration - Benefits:

 Up to 3.500€ Gross salary (based on previous experience)

 13 th salaries

 21 days of annual leave

 Work Monday – Friday
