Our client, an very well established Global group in marketing operations and events organising, is looking to hire a Partnership Manager to expand their international operations to Cyprus. If you are excellent in business networking with partners, businesses, marketing vendors and you love large scale events this role might be for you.
The client is in need for someone who already knows where and how to contact partners, preferably in the fintech industry but not restrictive to that. The event market is limitless so expansion in different types of events in different industries is the main goal. The company is very established and can provide all tools for further growth. The role is fun and refreshingly creative. You must have Business Development B2B background or marketing B2B background as well as deep local knowledge, you must be eligible to work in Cyprus since there is no visa provision for this role.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identify partnership opportunities for several events.
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand in different industries.
- Maintain professional relationships with existing business.
- Think critically when planning to assure project success.
- Traveling to various events..
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives or subcontractors.
- Oversee budgets with the Business Development Director.
- Constantly increasing company revenue by generating new partnerships and improving profit margins by improving operations.
- Research and identify growth opportunities.
- Generate reports and giving presentations to Director.
- Handle event set-up logistics and smooth running of events in line with client.
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints.
- Book venues and suppliers.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms.
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards.
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to possible resolve problems.
- Creating basic Profit and Loss excel sheet per events to explain financial success for each event.
- Being accessible during evenings and weekends (during peak season/ important events; within reasonable limit).
- Being able to communicate when out of office via mobile phone/ emails from mobile phone, when and if required (within reasonable limit)
Qualifications and Experience needed:
- 2 years at least in B2B marketing or business development is needed.
- Very good knowledge of fintech events and their requirements for conducting a solid event.
- Knowledge on how to find other local and international scale event partners.
- Strong knowledge in marketing.
- Excellent communication skills in English is a must and Greek will be considered as a very strong advantage.
- The candidates must be eligible to work in Cyprus without work permit.
- Flexibility for travelling

- Team is small for now hence onsite work is needed with reasonable flexibility
The company offers an attractive salary from 35,000 to 40,000 EUR gross per annum plus additional bonus on profit sharing. Other benefits will be implemented due course.
