Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the gaming or creative industry.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement visual concepts for projects.
  • Excellent understanding of composition, color, style, and visual language.
  • Proven experience managing art teams (both in-house and outsourced).
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor team members.
  • Experience creating mood boards, art documentation, and briefs.
  • Solid knowledge of production workflows, pipelines, and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator; knowledge of 3D or AI tools is a plus.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills when working with stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across the project.
  • Build and manage internal and external art teams.
  • Set tasks, oversee deadlines, and ensure the quality of all deliverables.
  • Conduct art reviews, provide mentorship, and support team growth.
  • Collaborate with project managers to shape and maintain the art roadmap.
  • Present visual concepts and solutions to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality at all stages of production — from concept to final assets.
  • Participate directly in production when necessary, especially at critical stages.
