Human Resources Officer

Role Overview

This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented HR professional with a strong interest in HR administration and daily operations. The HR Officer will support the smooth functioning of the Human Resources Department, working closely with the HR Manager and contributing to a positive and structured employee experience within a healthcare environment.

Job Description

  • Work closely with the HR Manager and the HR team to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources Department.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job descriptions, job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
  • Support offboarding procedures and ensure accurate and timely HR documentation.
  • Administer employee leave (annual, sick, maternity, and statutory leave) in accordance with company policies and local legislation.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records, files, and HR databases.
  • Monitor working hours and staff schedules in collaboration with departmental managers.
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with general HR administration as required.
  • Undertake any additional HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager.

Person Specification

  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative HR role.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, cooperative, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
  • Experience with Exelsys HR software will be considered an advantage.
