About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chargeback Specialist
to join our Payments team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dispute management, payment operations, and PSP processes, with the ability to handle chargeback cases efficiently and identify recurring risk patterns.

You will be responsible for managing the full chargeback lifecycle, preparing representment documentation, analysing dispute causes, and supporting the Payments and Anti-Fraud teams in reducing financial losses and improving user trust.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of how payment systems and card schemes operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming chargeback and dispute cases across multiple PSPs.
• Prepare and submit representment documentation within required deadlines.
• Maintain a detailed chargeback registry, tracking outcomes, causes, and dispute status.
• Analyse chargeback trends and root causes, providing insights for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Anti-Fraud and Support teams to prevent recurring issues, improve pre-dispute resolution, and instruct Support when a refund should be initiated to avoid a potential chargeback.
• Provide regular reports to the Head of Payments on chargeback ratios, financial impact, and case statistics.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with chargebacks or dispute management (preferably within payments, fintech, or iGaming).
• Strong knowledge of Visa / Mastercard dispute processes and PSP workflows.
• Proficiency in working with Excel / Google Sheets; basic data analysis skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Experience communicating with PSPs and internal teams in English.
• Excellent command of English and Russian (minimum B2 level in both).
