IT Support Specialist

Your main role is to handle corporate client IT tickets and support calls, providing technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software through phone, online tools, and email. Additionally, you will give advice to end-users or management on the best practices for implementation. You will evaluate requests, process them, or direct them to the appropriate technician or manager.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of IT help desk or call center support;
  • Proficiency in system setup and troubleshooting;
  • Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Mac);
  • Proficient in collaboration software;
  • Knowledge of network technologies;
  • Experience with backup solutions;
  • Familiarity with NAS and SAN systems;
  • Experience with VoIP Phones, Apple IOS, and Android OS;
  • Understanding of web services, API, and IP protocols;
  • Support and maintenance of data center infrastructure.

  • Translate user needs into technical specs;
  • Monitor and escalate Help Desk tickets;
  • Provide remote and onsite support for various IT components;
  • Respond to customer IT issues and inquiries;
  • Diagnose and resolve problems efficiently;
  • Report system performance to CTO;
  • Perform admin tasks to support department operations;
  • Enhance IT documentation processes;
  • Collaborate with teams on new features;
  • Install hardware at client sites;
  • Deliver Tier 1 and 2 IT support on-site or remotely.
