The Role

As the Team Leader Client Services, you hold a pivotal role within our team, leading our Customer Experience and Onboarding team and overseeing daily operations in Cyprus. Your responsibilities encompass ensuring efficient and effective operations by monitoring client flow, identifying trends, and addressing issues across our various contact channels. Additionally, you provide personalized coaching and feedback to team members, collaborating closely with our Training Specialist to nurture their growth and development.

Furthermore, as a key liaison, you have the opportunity to provide invaluable feedback to our Chief Client Experience Officer and other internal stakeholders. Your insights drive enhancements across our function, ultimately contributing to our overall success.

As our Team Leader Client Services, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to

  • Managing team members on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimal team performance is achieved
  • Achieving agreed client service levels and KPIs
  • Providing regular one-on-one coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Creating development plans for each individual and tracking their progress
  • Regularly reporting on team performance to the Chief Client Experience Officer
  • Collaborating on internal customer service and experience projects as agreed with the Chief Client Experience Officer
  • Escalating client issues to the Chief Client Experience Officer or other senior managers as required
  • Addressing compliance and integrity issues by escalating them to senior managers as needed
  • Conducting performance management activities with support from the Chief Client Experience Officer
  • Collaborating closely with the Chief Client Experience Officer to drive process improvements across Pepperstone's global Client Services function
  • Effectively liaising with key stakeholders across time zones and geographies, including Customer Experience Officers in Cyprus and the UK
  • Identifying opportunities for junior team members to work on projects as needed

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Client Services within a comparable industry
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated people leadership experience, serving as a role model for the organization (up to 10 individuals)
  • Ability to balance team leadership while providing support to the Chief Client Experience Officer
  • Proficiency in managing quality assurance levels across the team and effectively communicating information to relevant stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to tailor communication to various groups of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with MT5, MT4, CTrader, and Salesforce is desirable
  • Ability to advocate for the client's needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment where priorities may change quickly
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Management, or Economics is desirable
