Junior Accountant Job

This role involves supporting daily accounting operations, including maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance and be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy. They will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, as well as effective communication skills in both Greek and English.

Job Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Accurately record all income, expenses, and other transactions in accounting software.
  • Vendor Analysis: Verify the accuracy of vendor statements.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure that the company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Business Expenses: Monitor and verify business expenses, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Tax Returns: Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns to the relevant tax authority.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documentation for audits.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Software Skills: Knowledge of eSoft Business Software is considered an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
