Job Title:
DevOps Engineer

About the Role

This is a pivotal opportunity to join our team as a DevOps Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our software development and delivery processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuring and managing cloud services, building and deploying software releases, and monitoring application performance and availability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle IT infrastructure per business needs of code deployed in hybrid multi-tenant environment
  • Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools systems and procedures
  • Containerize applications for deployment
  • Automate tests and deploy code
  • Continuously monitor system's performance
  • Apply strategies for 100% uptime of applications
  • Build independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions for complete integration of development to production
  • Develop scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
  • Configure and manage data sources like Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Neo4J, ArangoDB etc
  • Manage source control including GIT
  • Write necessary documentation regarding specifications of all the above

Requirements:
  • Previous work experience as DevOps engineer or systems engineer or related
  • Hands on experience of Bash or Python in Linux environment
  • Understand CI and CD fully
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure as code
  • Strong command of Jenkins/GitLab, Ansible or any other CI tools
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios etc
  • Worked with Docker
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web related protocols
