Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Restaurant Manager for the Almyra Hotel.Job RoleResponsible for the day to day operation of the Restaurant, ensuring that all culinary standards of the outlet are always met, in accordance to the F&B standards, hygiene and safety regulations and policies of Thanos HotelsDuties & ResponsibilitiesSmooth and organized running of the RestaurantSupervise and co-ordinate daily operation of the Restaurant and serviceDeliver superior service and maximize customer satisfactionResolve customer complaints promptlySet objectives and targets for the restaurantAchieve financial goals both in revenue, expenses and profitsPrepare staff schedules, taking into consideration the quality of the service and maintaining labour costsDelegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resourcesMaintain excellent communication with all staff and other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionalsPromote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environmentManage staff performances and conduct performance appraisalsIdentify training and development needs for staffStay updated with the international F&B trends and make appropriate suggestions to the Food and Beverage ManagerMaintain excellent communication with all staff and other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionalsPromote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environmentImplement improvements for products and serviceAssist in menu planning and pricingComply with all Health and Safety rules and regulationsManage and order supplies and beveragesOrganize promotional activitiesComply with and communicate company policies, standards and procedures to staff and ensure staff operate within company policiesEnsure meeting rooms are set-up according to function sheets and client’s requirementsEnsure duties are carried out in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus LawPerform any other relevant duties assigned by the F& B Manager RequirementsMinimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 5* Hotel or fine dining environmentDegree Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification will be considered as an advantageExcellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantageExtensive F&B knowledgeExcellent leadership skillsThe ability to work independently and take initiativeAbility to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressureComputer LiterateCommitment to learning & self-developmentPromotes cooperation & commitment within a teamInspiring and motivating others while being caring and understandingExcellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints What we offerAttractive remuneration package Provident Fund Staff discounts at Hotels & Kult BoutiquesFree meals on dutyEmployee Appreciation Program and Reward SchemeGreat work-life balanceComprehensive new staff induction programmesGroup-wide professional development opportunities across countries and propertiesContinuous training opportunities
