Job Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and implement ETL processes using modern dbt technology. This role involves managing data warehouses (DWH), data marts, and dashboards while ensuring efficient data modeling, transformation, testing, and deployment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data integrations.
• Collaborate with team members throughout all stages of development.
• Develop and transform data using dbt models.
• Implement automated testing and maintain comprehensive documentation for models and tests.
• Design and maintain reliable data pipelines.
• Optimize data warehouse performance for efficiency and scalability.
• Apply best practices in data engineering to ensure accuracy, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Expertise in SQL and/or T-SQL. 
• Experience working with dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Ability to design and develop data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and transformations.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/Snowflake, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python is an advantage. 
• Strong understanding of data pipeline development, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and reliability.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD is considered an advantage.
