The role reports to the Engineering Chapter Lead, based in Cyprus. Our team is made up of individuals from all walks of life, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives that enrich our work and culture. Your contribution will be vital in designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend services that drive the performance and reliability of our trading platforms. You will lead technical initiatives, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams to create innovative, high-quality solutions. This opportunity is ideal for a senior engineer passionate about building robust systems, mentoring team members, and driving excellence in a fast-paced, agile environment.

As our Technical Lead (Go), you'll take charge of building scalable, high-performance services while fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

• Build Scalable Systems: Develop reliable, high-load services with optimal performance.
• Optimize and Improve: Identify bottlenecks and enhance system efficiency.
• Shape Architecture: Lead design discussions and align solutions with business goals.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with engineers, support teams, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Streamline Deployments: Implement tests and CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases.
• Mentor the Team: Guide team members and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

About You

• Proficient in Go, distributed systems, and high-speed, low-latency environments.
• Skilled with Docker, container orchestration, AWS, and Twelve-Factor App principles.
• Strong in software development, architecture, and database design.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and tools like Jira; trading platform knowledge is a plus.
• Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Quick to learn and adapt, with a positive, solution-focused mindset and sense of humor.
• Background in Computer Science or related field preferred.
