Job Summary

We are seeking a
Senior Lighting Designer
with a strong design vision and technical proficiency to join our creative team. This role involves leading projects from concept to completion, mentoring junior designers, and representing Luxitecture in client and consultant meetings. You'll play a key role in shaping lighting strategies and ensuring the quality and consistency of our design output.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead lighting design projects from concept through to construction, including site visits and commissioning
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate lighting with architecture
• Develop lighting concepts, mood boards, sketches, and presentations for client approval
• Produce detailed lighting layouts, specifications, control strategies, and documentation
• Conduct photometric calculations and visualizations using Dialux Evo or Relux
• Coordinate with suppliers to review and select appropriate lighting equipment
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and team resources effectively
• Mentor junior designers and support internal design reviews
• Ensure all deliverables meet Luxitecture's design and quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of professional lighting design experience, ideally with a focus on architectural and hospitality projects
• Strong knowledge of lighting principles, technologies, control systems, and industry standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux Evo, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office (Revit knowledge is a plus)
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both visual and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small collaborative team
• Fluency in English; Greek is a plus
