Senior Accountant
to join our fast-growing finance department.

You will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning. Your Role:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Manage financial obligations and tax filings, ensuring timely processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and reconcile supplier accounts.
  • Invoice processing
    :
    Review all supplier invoices to ensure they match the terms and conditions of the signed agreements before approving payments.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Review and verify payroll transactions.
  • Oversee and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
  • Prepare and review VAT reports, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Execute month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
  • Prepare payments for creditors, VAT, and PAYE.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Maintain off-balance-sheet accounting records.
  • Perform monthly elimination of intercompany transactions and prepare consolidation reports.

What makes you a great fit:

  • BSc/MSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP accounting software will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with the CFD industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Energetic, organized, and team-oriented with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
