Work Channel Professional Recruitment is working closely with a client in Nicosia and is seeking to recruit a
Procurement Officer.

For decades, our client has been a reliable collaborator in the food manufacturing sector, delivering advanced engineering solutions and customized production systems.

The role involves managing the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials and services required for production, ensuring timely supply, cost-efficient purchasing, and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requests from BOMs, warehouse levels, and departments.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers (local & international).
  • Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders (imports & local).
  • Support inventory control and resolve delivery issues.
  • Ensure timely procurement for production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support process improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years procurement experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred).
  • Knowledge of mechanical/industrial components is an advantage.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Fluency in Greek & English.
