Head of Risk

About your role

As the Head Risk & Dealing, you will lead the Company's risk management and dealing operations, ensuring resilience and efficiency across trading activities. You will oversee risk and market exposure, guide and develop the dealing team, and manage relationships with liquidity providers. This role offers direct influence on trading strategy, product development, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee daily operational and market risk management across the Company
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Risk and Dealing team
• Monitor client trading activity to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements (Pillar III, ICARAP, EMIR, ASIC, MiFIR).
• Lead the development and enforcement of risk management policies and procedures
• Manage Dealing Desk operations, ensuring execution efficiency and market competitiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with liquidity providers to secure optimal terms
• Monitor market news and distribute timely updates to internal stakeholders
• Drive the development and launch of new trading products and services
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to resolve trading platform issues and streamline operations
• Oversee the development of tools, scripts, and automation to enhance trading operations.
• Provide strategic risk and dealing advice to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Represent the Company with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• 6+ years of relevant experience within the FX/CFDs/Financial industry
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in a Head of Dealing or similar role
• Holder of CySEC Advanced Certificate
• Proficient in using MT4 and MT5 (both Administrator and Manager)
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and with high attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Advanced computer literacy, including Excel or other reporting tools
• BSc/MSc degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, or Economics
