Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of an award-winning boutique law firm with a strong international practice, is seeking to recruit an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join its Transactional Team in Nicosia.

The selected candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of cross-border corporate and commercial matters and will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with high-calibre clients and legal professionals in a supportive and growth-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents, ensuring legal precision and alignment with commercial objectives
  • Dealing with finance/banking international transactions on the lender or borrower side and issuing legal opinions
  • Advising clients on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, company formation, and governance matters
  • Conducting due diligence and providing clear, commercially focused legal recommendations
  • Ensuring compliance with Cyprus corporate law, regulations, and other relevant legislative frameworks
  • Applying and interpreting Cyprus and international business law in client-related matters
  • Identifying legal risks, mitigating potential liabilities, and conducting research on complex legal issues
  • Monitoring and staying informed on legal and regulatory developments affecting corporate and commercial practice

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law; LL.M and/or LPC will be considered an advantage
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, with strong knowledge of Companies Law and Contract Law
  • Proven ability to draft high-quality legal documents with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong integrity, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, managing multiple matters simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer literacy, including advanced use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken

Remuneration

A competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including:

  • Annual Gross Salary: €40,000 – €60,000 (payable in 13 instalments), with the higher range applicable to candidates with 8–10 years of experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus, based on individual and company performance
