Brainforce is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our client, a prestigious luxury resort set to open in the summer of 2026. We are seeking an experienced General Manager who is driven by excellence and possesses a deep understanding of high-end hospitality standards. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the pre-opening and operational phases of the resort, ensuring every aspect of the guest experience speaks to the core values of luxury, quality, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of the resort's pre-opening plan, ensuring all operational aspects are effectively aligned with the brand's vision and values.
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team across all departments while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and guest-centric service.
  • Oversee the preparation for launch, including the establishment of operating procedures, service standards, and staff training programs that ensure a seamless opening experience.
  • Develop and manage the resort's annual budget, optimizing resources while achieving financial targets and maintaining high standards of luxury service.
  • Implement marketing and sales strategies that position the resort in the market and drive occupancy and revenue from day one..
  • Establish relationships with local businesses, communities, and organizations, enhancing the resort's presence and reputation within the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort, with proven success in pre-opening operations.
  • Proven experience in pre-opening and managing large-scale, high-end hotel operations
  • Strong background in both operational and financial management, with experience in budget development and cost control.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of luxury hospitality trends and guest expectations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests and staff at all levels.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and other relevant technology.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during the pre-opening phase.
