We're looking for
a IT Support Specialist
to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the IT consulting sector for a
banking
project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents following IT service management processes.
- Install, configure, and maintain user workstations, operating systems, and standard applications.
- Support enterprise systems and business applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, incidents, and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Provide technical training and guidance to end users to promote self-service and productivity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, security standards, and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- 6 months - 1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, etc.).
- Familiarity with networking principles and virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage and resolve user issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Good organizational and documentation skills for tracking issues and maintaining support procedures.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
