On behalf of our client, a leading innovator in high-end real estate development, we are seeking a
strategic and hands-on Head of Accounting & Finance
to lead and scale the in-house financial operations.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a portfolio of premium developments in Cyprus, catering to international buyers and investors. The successful candidate will take ownership of the entire accounting and finance function—from daily operations to strategic financial planning—while preparing to
build and lead their own finance team
as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all accounting and finance operations of the company
  • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Develop budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models for new projects
  • Manage cash flows, liquidity planning, and financial projections
    to support company growth
  • Oversee
    banking relationships
    , loans, and financing facilities, ensuring compliance with covenants
  • Supervise
    payments and collections
    , monitoring receipts from multiple sources and international clients
  • Implement and monitor robust internal control systems and financial procedures
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS, VAT, corporate tax, and other regulations
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies
  • Support project teams with feasibility studies, cost control, and performance tracking
  • Oversee payroll, fixed asset registers, and depreciation schedules

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Accounting, Finance,
    or related field
  • ACA/ACCA or other recognized professional qualification
    required
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting & finance
  • Proven expertise in cash flow management, projections, and banking relationships
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work across departments and with international clients
  • Experience in property development and/or real estate investments is a strong plus
