The Company

Resolute Investment Management (Cyprus) Ltd (the '
Company

') is an established Alternative Investment Fund Manager ('
AIFM

'), based in Nicosia, and regulated by CySEC. The Company offers comprehensive AIFM services to Funds with the following investment strategies: Real Estate, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Fund of Funds and Other.

The Company is part of the Resolute Asset Management Group, a market leader in the management and recovery of technically, structurally, and geographically complex distressed real estate equity and debt investments for third parties.

Job Description

·

Review the policies and procedures followed and advise for any corrective actions, to ensure compliance with the IOM of the Company.

·

Review all core areas (such as the AML & KYC procedures, Corporate Governance rules, and how the reconciliations are conducted to name a few) and submit summary reports to the Company's Board of Directors ('
BoD')

.

·

Update management and key stakeholders on new legislation, circulars, and directives.

·

Advise the Company in relation to needs of staff training and maintain relevant training registers.

·

Give appropriate guidance for corrective measures and where deems necessary inform the BoD if shortcomings or weaknesses are identified.

·

Act as a first point of contact with MOKAS the Financial Intelligence Unit, upon commencement of and during any investigations.

·

Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the lists of clients categorised following a risk-based approach.

·

Detect, record, and evaluate, at least on an annual basis, all risks arising from existing and new clients, new financial instruments, and services.

·

Update and amend the systems and procedures applied for the effective management of the above-mentioned risks.

·

Evaluate the systems and procedures applied by any third persons on whom the company may rely on for client identification and due diligence purposes and approve the cooperation with said third persons.

·

Prepare and submit to CySEC the Monthly Prevention Statement and provide the necessary explanation to the appropriate employees for its completion.

·

Prepare the Annual AML Compliance Report and submit to the Company's BoD.

·

Respond to all requests and queries from MOKAS and CySEC and provide all requested information.

Candidate profile

  • CySEC AML certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at the same role
  • Experience working in an AIFM or in AIFM/AIF regulatory framework will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to create, analyse, and present information effectively and efficiently.
  • Proactive and hands-on, organisational skills, high level of interpersonal skills, eager to get involved in multiple projects as a team player, good character, and personality.
  • Fluency in English and Greek and excellent communication skills: verbal and writing.
