At Welltech, we strive to be proactive wellness partners for our users, while continually evolving ourselves.What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a Senior Payments Operations Specialist to lead and optimize our payment processes, focusing on monitoring key billing performance indicators, managing routing and cascading strategies, and ensuring seamless transaction flows. In this role, you will collaborate closely with payment providers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve anomalies, improve operational efficiency, and reduce transaction failures and costs. You will play a vital part in scaling and strengthening our payment infrastructure while maintaining proactive communication and high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Monitor key billing performance indicators (KPIs), including approval rates, declined transactions and their reasons, timeouts, processing times, and payment distributionEstablish and optimize scalable payment operational processes, encompassing routing, cascading, and retry strategiesEscalate drops and anomalies to providers and relevant internal teams, ensuring timely feedback on estimated times of fixes (ETAs) and status updatesCollaborate with various departments such as marketing, product, CRM, customer support, and analytics to address their requestsDeeply analyze current payment flows, methods, provider back-offices, existing monitoring, analysis reports, and internal toolsCommunicate critical changes in provider terms or billing to relevant teamsConduct payment and routing/cascading tests, and monitor resultsIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance system functionality, and reduce transactional errors and costsRequired skills:3+ years of experience as a Billing Specialist or Billing Analyst in online paymentsStrong aptitude for numbers and processing transactional informationProficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office softwareSolid understanding of online payment funnels and flowsExperience in written communication with international customers or partnersBasic understanding of payment and transactional systems and servicesEagerness to expand knowledge about payment systemsSoft Skills:Exceptional attention to detailHigh level of responsibilityProactive approachStrong communication skillsExcellent teamwork abilitiesAptitude for multitasking and quick reaction to processing problemsPersistenceAbility to effectively address and resolve issues in communication with providersNice to have:Experience with Tableau, SQL, and logsCandidate journey Recruiter call --> Meet a team member --> Skills assessment--> Meet the Leadership team Why You'll Love Being Part of Welltech:Grow Together: Join a culture that champions both personal and professional growth.
