We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Moderation & Compliance team. Your mission: build and advance technology that keeps our platform — and the world — safe, fair, and fun. You'll develop systems that detect harmful trends, catch violations early, reduce risks, and protect our global community, with a strong emphasis on child safety.

This role sits at the intersection of applied research and real-world product impact. You'll work with massive data sets, cutting-edge integrations, and see your impact in real time. Expect to experiment with new methods, prototype fast, and ship systems that bring safer experiences to millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop novel ML models for content moderation across modalities (text, image, audio, video).
• Prototype and productionize detection pipelines with moderation engineers.
• Build scalable, reliable systems to flag and filter harmful or abusive content in real time.
• Detect and track harmful trends early, with a focus on reducing risk and protecting vulnerable users.
• Stay on top of the latest ML advancements and apply them pragmatically to trust & safety challenges.

Requirements

• Strong background in Machine Learning / Deep Learning across text, image, audio, and video.
• Experience with modern frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with transformers, embeddings, and multimodal models.
• Solid knowledge of evaluation metrics for classification/detection tasks (precision/recall, ROC-AUC, F1, etc.).
• Strong programming skills (Python, ML libraries, cloud compute, GPUs).
• Bonus: experience in trust & safety, adversarial ML, or large-scale moderation systems.
