On behalf of our client, an Innovative digital solutions provider, we are looking for a motivated and determined Junior Online Payments Account Manager.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics or any other relevant field
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience; prior work in an online-based company is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with advanced interpersonal abilities
- Skilled in time management, task prioritization and meeting deadlines
- Proactive, well-organized, and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written command of English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Curius, adaptable and eager to learn with an innovative mindset
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify, assess and recommend new payment methods and providers
- Support the onboarding and online integration process for new payment providers
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing payment providers
- Gather and update KYC/AML and other due diligence documentation as required
- Be updated with the latest requirements and regulations from major payment schemes to ensure full compliance
- Enhance payment processes across frontend and backend systems to improve user experience and boost conversion rates
- Track and analyze daily transaction data by country, issuer, card type, and other key indicators, implementing improvements as needed
- Prepare regular – weekly, monthly – and ad hoc analytical reports to identify issues, highlight trends and recommend optimization strategies for payment performance
- Detect and respond to suspicious or fraudulent activity, taking appropriate steps to minimize risk
- Continuously optimize clients' online payment systems to ensure efficiency, compliance, and long-term profitability
- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to payments promptly and professionally
- Generate and present detailed reports and performance insights to senior management
