Reconciliation and Payment Specialist

Responsibilities:

Perform daily reconciliation of transactions between merchant providers' reports and the company's internal systems.

Identify and analyze discrepancies in transactions, prepare adjustments, and initiate resolution of disputed operations.

Prepare consolidated reports on settlements, refunds, chargebacks, and commission fees.

Monitor timely receipt of funds from processing companies to the company's bank accounts.

Initiate, execute, and control all necessary payments on behalf of the company to merchant providers, partners, and other counterparties (within approved procedures and limits).

Cooperate with financial control, accounting, and risk management departments to ensure transparency and accuracy of settlements.

Maintain an up-to-date database of merchant accounts, contracts, and commission structures.

Prepare analytical reports for management on the efficiency of work with providers.

Participate in optimization of reconciliation processes and implementation of automation solutions.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, AML/KYC requirements, and regulatory standards when performing reconciliation and payments.

Requirements:

Proven experience in reconciliation, settlements, or payment operations (experience in high-risk industries is an advantage).

Strong knowledge of payment systems, merchant providers, and transaction flows.

Understanding of chargebacks, refunds, and dispute resolution processes.

Familiarity with compliance standards, including AML/KYC requirements.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify discrepancies quickly.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; knowledge of reconciliation software is a plus.

Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
