Role Objective

  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting for Cypriot legal entities within an international group.
  • Maintain control over primary documentation, cash flow, and settlements with counterparties.
  • Ensure proper data preparation for reporting and participate in accounting automation.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams, contribute to improving accounting and reporting processes, align accounting with local requirements and internal group policies, and interact with external consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting operations in the ERP system.
  • Work with primary documentation.
  • Reconcile accounts with counterparties, monitor receivables and payables.
  • Prepare data for IFRS reporting.
  • Communicate with external tax consultants.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing.
  • Support accounting automation and implementation of new processes.
  • Interact with external auditors, legal advisors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in organizing accounting in international companies / for foreign legal entities.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant.
  • Understanding of IFRS principles and financial reporting structure.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
  • Experience with one of ERP systems (1C, SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Responsibility, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Willingness to work from the office in Paphos.

Would be a plus

  • Knowledge of NetSuite.
  • Participation in IFRS reporting preparation or RAS-to-IFRS transformation.
  • English at the level sufficient for reading documentation and correspondence.
  • Ongoing or completed ACCA / DipIFR studies.
