Who we need

We are looking for a
Risk Manager
to coordinate the company's risk management processes, maintain risk registers and heat maps, and prepare regulatory reports (ICARA, Pillar III, RBS-F, BRRD) in line with CySEC requirements.

The ideal candidate will monitor market, credit, and concentration risks, support risk committees, and contribute to the development of risk management frameworks and automation systems across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management

• Monitor the risk profile of the Company's operations, prepare and maintain comprehensive risk registers and heat maps
• Assist with impact calculations for major business decisions and large transactions on the risk standing of the Company
• Monitor adherence to credit risk, concentration, market risk etc. as well as established trading limits

Governance and Committee Management

• Initiate, prepare agendas and materials for Risk Committees
• Attend Board of Directors, Risk Management and Investment Committee meetings as required

Regulatory Reporting and Compliance

• Draft ICARA report (Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment), Annual Risk Manager report, and Pillar III report for senior management review
• Prepare recovery and resolution reports under Directive 2014/59/EU (BRRD)
• Compile Risk Based Supervision Framework forms (RBS-F) and Prudential Supervision documentation for CySEC submissions
• Perform Capital Adequacy calculations according to regulatory standards and provide supporting documentation for audit procedures
• Assist with prudential consolidation and draft Consolidated Capital Adequacy reports for the group of companies

Risk Management Framework Development

• Participate in creating, maintaining and updating risk management policies for the Company
• Participate in internal and external audits related to areas of responsibility
• Margin Trading Service Management
• Support the Head of Risk in designing and implementing Margin Trading service functionality and processes
• Monitor the application of haircut calculation methodology and relevant calculations in the trading platform
• Assist with the implementation of margin call and liquidation processes

Business Analysis and System Development

• Support the Head of Risk in developing automated risk warning processes (margin calls, liquidation, approach to restrictions, etc.)
• Assist in creating business requirements for internal and external risk management reporting
• Collaborate with the Head of Risk to design business requirements for internal risk management systems

Required qualifications

• Risk Management department role in a traditional or a CFD brokerage or in Big Four risk consulting or independent service providers
• Hands-on experience in preparation of CAD (Capital Adequacy) reports is a must
• Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies and frameworks
• Proficiency in capital adequacy calculations and regulatory reporting
• Experience in preparation of other Risk reports (BRRD, RBS-F etc.) is a strong plus
• Experience in preparation of consolidated supervision reporting is a strong plus
• Experience working with margin trading and handling margin calls
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders
