Junior Risk Officer
to join our team.

The Junior Risk Officer will support the daily operations of the Risk Department, assisting in the implementation and enhancement of the group risk management framework. The role offers the opportunity to develop a holistic understanding of financial, operational, and regulatory risk in a multi-jurisdictional environment, helping ensure the group activities align with global best practices and regional regulatory requirements.

Your role at HFM:

  • Support the Risk Management function in daily operations.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the Company's Risk Management Framework.
  • Contribute to risk identification and assessment by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
  • Help prepare the Company's risk register and monitor risk mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and Dealing teams to support risk-related regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in reviews of policies, procedures, and business continuity plans.
  • Prepare and update risk and exposure reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and testing of risk management tools and dashboards.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of internal risk management procedures.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis for management and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify and escalate potential risk incidents or irregularities to senior staff promptly.

Global Exposure:

This role offers the opportunity to work within an international risk management framework, supporting operations regulated by multiple global authorities (including CySEC, FCA, FSCA, DFSA, and others).

The successful candidate will gain insight into cross-border risk management, exposure to diverse regulatory environments, and experience in implementing consistent global risk practices—an invaluable foundation for long-term professional growth in financial services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a Risk, Trading, or Back Office role, ideally within a CFD or Forex company.
  • Basic understanding of CFD products, margin trading, and financial markets.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficiency in Excel required (knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus).
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
