Head of Admissions and Licensing

On behalf of ICPAC, an established professional association, we are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role Head of Admissions and Licensing to join their team in Nicosia.

Positions' Duties and Responsibilities
Provide assistance and support to the General Manager for the effective operation of the organization.Responsible for evaluating applications and approving new members of the organization.Responsible for evaluating applications for the initial registration and renewal of practicing certificates for both individuals and firms, in accordance with organization regulations and applicable legislation.Responsible for maintaining and properly updating the Registers of Members and Licensed Individual of the organization. Preparation of relevant reports and statistical data.Collaborate with all external bodies, stakeholders, government and/or private institutions and competent authorities related to the responsibilities of the position and to the organization in general, within the ambit of the relevant legislation.Cooperation with other departments of the organization, especially those related to the supervision of the Members and licensed individuals.Representation of the organization in bodies and committees related to the position's duties, including government departments, ministries, the House of Representatives, academic institutions and other professional bodies in Cyprus and abroad.Presentation to the council of issues related to the responsibilities of the position.Responsible for the effective operation of the department.Responsible for the staff assigned to their department.Where needed, they may be required to travel abroad for business purposes to represent the organization in meetings, international bodies and training.Position's Requirements
Professional Qualification in Accountancy and Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.At least 5 years of post-qualification practical experience.Excellent command of the Greek and English language (written and verbal)Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.Team building and leadership skills.Employer's Details
