HRus Partners (license number 414) on behalf of our client, a leading Financial Advisory firm in Limassol, we are currently looking for a Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to investment firms and other financial institutions throughout their licensing process, as well as ongoing compliance support to existing clients.

Responsibilities
:

  • Assisting with the licensing and authorization process of investment firms and other financial institutions (including local and global licensing)
  • Assisting the Legal & Compliance team in providing compliance and regulatory consultation support to number of clients that are authorized as an Investment Firm
  • Assisting with the operational support of investment firms and other financial institutions
  • Ensuring investment firms and financial institutions comply with the relevant laws and regulations
  • Assisting with client's communication and regulators with regards to ongoing support and authorizations
  • Advising clients on the impact of regulatory changes in their operations and business
  • Assisting with the set up and implementation of internal policies and procedures of clients

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law or Finance, Business or another related field with minimum Upper Second Class or equivalent
  • CySEC Advanced Certificate will be considered as an advantage
  • Forex/ Regulatory experience will be considered as an advantage
  • Fluent in Greek and English. Any additional languages will be considered an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Attention to detail and being well organized
  • Professional, disciplined and strong work-ethic
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn
