We are looking for a qualified
Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
to join our Group Finance team. This role will take ownership of the Group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and audit coordination across our international subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex consolidation processes, strong attention to detail, and confidence liaising directly with Group auditors. You will work closely with finance teams across multiple countries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with Group deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the monthly and
    annual Group consolidation
    in Caseware, ensuring all intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and reclassifications are accurately recorded.
  • Lead the
    Group audit process
    , acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinating deliverables across entities.
  • Manage and reconcile
    intercompany balances
    between subsidiaries, ensuring proper eliminations and variance resolution.
  • Maintain a robust consolidation process, ensuring consistency and accuracy of reporting across entities.
  • Review
    Group financial statements
    and supporting notes for audit and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams to improve reporting quality, intercompany processes, and audit readiness.
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with
    ad hoc financial projects
    , process improvement initiatives, and accounting analysis.
  • Provide
    cover or support
    for subsidiary accountants or financial controllers during leave or peak reporting periods.
  • Contribute to system and reporting improvements, including development within Microsoft Dynamics and Caseware.

Skills & Experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent) with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in group consolidation
    and audit within an international multi-entity environment, including consolidation of financial statements
    across multiple currencies
    and foreign exchange translation.
  • Excellent understanding of
    intercompany accounting and eliminations
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Caseware
    .
  • Microsoft Dynamics (MSD)
    experience is desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills
    — strong use of formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation for reconciliations and analysis.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills — comfortable dealing with auditors, senior management, and overseas finance teams.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
  • A team player willing to step in and assist colleagues when required.
