We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our hosting geeks family as a Junior Systems Administrator. As a member of the IT Support Department, you will be part of the help-desk team as first point of contact with our clients, assisting in resolving technical issues with their IT services and day-to-day infrastructure management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor Servers, Network and Infrastructure Status and escalate incidents accordingly
  • Assist in Customer support for Level-1 technical inquiries (Live chat, tickets, email)
  • Provide help and support during the installation and provisioning of new hardware, products and services
  • Assist with the administration of the company's Inventory system
  • Assist with logistics of IT equipment deliveries at NetShop ISP's global Data Centers
  • Liaise with other departments within the company to support customers

Requirements

  • Familiarity with computer and server hardware
  • Excellent professional written & oral communication skills in English (Greek an advantage).
  • Passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills

Optional Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Networking will be considered a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Linux will be considered a plus

Location: Larnaca
