GRS Recruitment is partnering with a leading specialist in marine insurance brokerage to find a talented individual to join their Limassol-based team.

This company offers comprehensive coverage solutions for a wide range of maritime risks, and we're looking for a skilled Hull & Machinery Insurance Broker to help them achieve their goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with H&M underwriters and work closely with them to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive brokers and business producers to develop strategic growth plans and drive business forward.
  • Work closely with broking partners in London to identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships.
  • Place Hull policies in the Lloyds and overseas markets, ensuring the best possible results for clients.
  • Renew current policies successfully and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Coordinate with broker technicians to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, both internally and externally.
  • Be proactive, think outside the box, and demonstrate self-motivation to drive business forward and achieve results.
Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in a marine insurance broking environment, with a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a track record of success.
  • Ability to assemble broking presentation materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with a strong ability to liaise with clients.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
