Overview
This leadership role focuses on overseeing the global portfolio of Payment Service Providers to ensure seamless, secure, and cost-effective payment experiences for clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills to manage and optimize PSPs in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage relationships with PSPs, including cards, e-wallets, crypto processors, and wire transfer providers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, SLAs, and integration timelines with payment partners.
- Monitor PSP performance, including transaction success rates, costs, and uptime, and implement improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal Tech teams to integrate PSPs into platforms such as CRM, cashier, and back office systems.
- Oversee payment operations and handle escalations, including chargebacks and fraud cases, in collaboration with Risk and Support teams.
- Optimize payment routing and logic to improve approval rates, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Maintain and report on KPIs related to PSP performance, transaction volumes, cost per transaction, and more.
- Analyze industry trends and client behavior to identify and propose innovative payment solutions and geographic expansion opportunities.
- Support financial planning and reporting processes related to PSP expenses and payment strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PSP management, ideally within the forex, payments, or fintech industries.
- Deep understanding of online payment methods, including acquiring, e-wallets, wire transfers, and crypto.
- Familiarity with international PSPs and multi-currency ecosystems.
- Knowledge of payment platforms like Praxis and other cashier solutions.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Technical understanding of payment APIs, CRM, and back-office systems is a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
