You'll be joining our Finance team — 17 professionals with strong expertise across analytics, automation, accounting, operations, treasury, and reporting. The team is led by our Chief Financial Officer and includes specialists in everything from revenue recognition to reconciliation. While many are based in Cyprus, Mellow's mission allows us to hire talent wherever it thrives. Join us in the role of a
Payroll Accountant
to help us build a world-class finance engine.

Your Role in Action

  • Work in 1C and/or Odoo — data entry, verification, and organization;
  • Participate in payroll processing: preparing data, calculating contributions (Social Insurance, GESY, Tax), coordinating with employees and HR;
  • Handle routine bookkeeping: petty cash, courier expenses, business trips, and other internal tasks;
  • Prepare data for VAT and VIES: collecting, verifying, and organizing invoices;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to clarify and obtain missing documents;
  • Ensure structured and transparent storage of all operational documentation.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferably in Cyprus);
  • LCCI Higher qualification or equivalent; ACCA is a plus;
  • Basic knowledge of VAT and Cyprus taxation, or willingness to learn;
  • Experience with online payments;
  • Strong Excel skills and basic understanding of IFRS;
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset;
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility;
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus.
