JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT (NICOSIA)

qualified and experienced JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT, to support our client

financial department. The responsibilities of a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

include processing payments, updating financial records, and managing

invoices.

To be successful as a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT, you should have some

knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good

organizational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software.

Ultimately, a top-notch finance assistant should have integrity, excellent

mathematical skills, and an understanding of data privacy standards.

Responsibilities:

 Ensures timely and accurate updating of the company's accounting

books, according to the instructions of the Accounting Manager

 Verification and recording of receipts, payments, invoices, and

other accounting transactions and documents in the company's

internal databases

 Creates reports that highlight all necessary information, such as

gross revenue, monthly charges, and account balances

 Contributes to the preparation of monthly results, budgets, and

cash flow

 Management and updating of expense and refund reports

 Preparation and reconciliation of invoices, as well as identification

of discrepancies

 Checks account statements (bank, suppliers, etc.)

 Prepares bank deposits and processes payments as directed by

the Accounting Manager

 Archives accounting documents and maintains a well-organized

filing system

 Stays thoroughly informed about the guidelines and regulations

governing the Accounting department and adheres to them strictly

 Contributes with actions and initiatives to create and maintain a

positive work environment, as well as effective teamwork

 Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

 University Degree and/or holder of LCCI

 Previous experience in a similar position of at least 1 year.

 Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English language (both

spoken and written).

 Committed to exceptional client service.

 Excellent organizational skills.

 Computer literate (word, excel, outlook)

 Accounting software.

 Good organizational skills.

 Strong analytical skills.

 Detail-oriented.

 Excellent time management skills.
