We are currently seeking a
Legal Advisor
to join our talented team. Here, you will find the perfect environment to thrive, excel, and contribute to reshaping the financial landscape.

Location:
Limassol, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including commercial, service, and other agreements, ensuring compliance with laws.
• Assist in the preparation of protocols and materials for board meetings and other legal documents (e.g. POAS, Resolutions, Letters) ensuring all legal perspectives are well- represented.
• Support the Head of Legal & DPO in coordinating legal matters across all regions to ensure a unified approach to global legal issues.
• Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Compliance, Product, and Finance, offering legal support to enhance operations and mitigate risks.
• Assist in managing potential legal disputes, such issues for defamation.
• Contribute to the implementation of scalable legal processes to streamline and organize global legal functions efficiently.
• Conduct legal research on matters related to the company's global operations.
• Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
• Handle data subject rights requests, tickets and tasks (DPO support duties)
• Assist in ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations (DPO support duties)
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures (DPO support duties)
• Perform other related legal tasks, as may be needed from time to time to support the company.

Requirements
:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution. A Master's degree in Law (LLM) or other relevant legal qualifications is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
• CYSEC Advanced Certification or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) certification is a plus.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken) is required.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive approach to addressing and resolving legal challenges in a timely manner.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
