As a
Junior Legal Officer
, you'll play a key role in supporting the company's legal and regulatory operations. You'll assist in maintaining corporate governance standards, ensuring legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and providing day-to-day support on a variety of corporate and regulatory matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services sector and develop your legal expertise within an international fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and keep up-to-date corporate registers, trademark registers, and contract/legal document registers.
  • Assist with data protection matters, including record-keeping and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Support employment law matters, including employment contracts, HR policies, and related compliance.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts, board/shareholder resolutions, minutes, and governance files.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, regulators, and service providers.
  • Conduct basic legal research and support regulatory matters relevant to the financial services sector.
  • Provide support on general corporate legal matters, including day-to-day legal queries and internal advisory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1 year of legal or corporate experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with the financial services sector and basic regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Data Protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), Employment Law, and other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal); knowledge of Greek is preferred.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills.
