The client

One of the largest suppliers of heating, air conditioning and plumbing systems, member of a well established Group of Companies.

The position

Responsibilities and duties

  • Leads the preparation of business plans and action plans
  • Responsible for the achievement of sales target as set out in the action plan
  • Formulates trade policy and explores the development of new products
  • Monitors the profitability and objectives of the Company and is able to provide evidence-based suggestions for improvement
  • Has an active involvement in the sales process especially with large customers
  • Proceeds to a price list revision whenever it is deemed appropriate based on profitability and competition
  • Communicates with suppliers and monitors the purchase orders
  • Ensures that the stock level is kept at optimum quantities
  • Plans staffing needs, provides effective guidance and feedback to personnel
  • Monitors the operation of the stores under his/her responsibility
  • Organizes promotional events and presentations/seminars to customers and staff
  • Prepares quarterly reports on sales, market shares, offers, etc.

Qualifications and experience

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is a must
  • Master's degree in business administration will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in a position with supervisory/administrative duties including planning, organizing, guiding, coordinating and controlling tasks
  • Integrity of character, managerial and organizational ability, communication and interpersonal skills, reliability and good judgment
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and very good knowledge of the English language
  • Excellent knowledge of computers and ERP systems
