Duties Include:

  • Prepare and submit VIES and VAT returns to the authorities accurately and on time.
  • Advise clients on invoicing requirements and best practices.
  • IFRS accounting for Cyprus companies, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Organise and schedule client meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all client needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and meetings.
  • Prepare detailed agendas for client meetings, including relevant documents and materials.
  • Handle day-to-day requests from clients and internal team members, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars and correspondence.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations, debtors statements, creditors statements
  • Preparation of monthly payroll for Cyprus employees, including processing of TD59, TD63, TD7 etc.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant,
  • Systems: eSoft, XERO, Zoho etc.
  • Previous experience within financial services
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English (must)
  • Openness to learn new things and to multi-task and vary priorities
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to work independently for timely delivery of work under strict deadlines
  • IT applications – excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software tools
