K. Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus based International Firm is currently hiring for a Compliance Assistant to join our AML Compliance Department in Nicosia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performance of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) Procedures
  • Ensure that adequate client KYC/AML records are maintained
  • For all clients perform risk assessment
  • Screening all clients (PEP database, sanction lists etc.) and assessing potential results
  • Review and advise on the regulatory compliance implications of internal policies and procedures
  • Monitoring the activities of the company for adherence to the AML Directive and other relevant Laws and reporting to the Compliance Officer
  • Responsible for administrating the company's Internal Control Management system
  • Liaising with all the firm's departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Business, Economics, Law, or any other related field
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
  • IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
