Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Technician, located in Nicosia. The IT Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to clients, and delivering excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include training employees on new systems and ensuring that all IT-related systems are functioning effectively.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 07:00-08:30 until 15:00-16:30

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, a College Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least
    one (1) year
    of relevant work experience in Information Technology after obtaining the required academic qualifications.
  • At least
    one (1) year
    of dedicated hands-on experience with
    Windows Operating Systems
    and
    Microsoft Office Products
    ,
    or
  • At least
    six (6) months
    of experience in
    network administration
    (LAN/WAN).
  • Fluency in the Greek language

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    technical support
    for IT equipment and networks
  • Installation of computer networks and troubleshooting issues related to software, IT, and telecommunications systems.
  • Configuration of peripheral and auxiliary devices (scanners, printers, etc.).
  • On-site repair of computer hardware and software.
  • Setup and configuration of local and wireless network equipment.
  • Router configurations.
  • Installation and configuration of Windows operating systems.
  • Troubleshooting
    Microsoft Office Products
    (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Troubleshooting
    Active Directory account
    issues.
  • Installation of software such as antivirus programs, drivers, Acrobat Reader, and web browsers.
  • Knowledge and experience in configuring and managing
    Firewall systems
    .
  • Management of
    central Datacenter infrastructure
    , including servers, storage systems, security devices, and network equipment.
