We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated individual to join our Firm's Commercial Department as an Institutional Business Development Manager. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, sales, and relationship management aimed at increasing business.

Office Location:

  • Cyprus

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to attract and retain institutional clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the organization's client base.
  • Set sales targets and create action plans to achieve them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular communication and by addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients.
  • Present the organization's products and services to potential institutional clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at institutional clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand the needs and trends of institutional clients.
  • Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to tailor offerings to institutional clients' needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, customer support) to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to institutional clients.
  • Track and report on business development activities, including sales performance, client interactions, and market trends.
  • Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and adjust as necessary.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, EXPOs, and seminars to build a network of contacts.
  • Engage with potential clients through various channels, including face to face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Travel extensively to meet clients and prospects, with up to 70% of time spent in the field.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in institutional business development or a similar role within the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated success and a proven track record in driving business growth and managing institutional client relationships.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends.
  • Competence in using data to drive decision-making and strategy formulation.:
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
