Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will play a critical role in the expansion of our derivative brokerage operations in Cyprus. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a successful history of strategic sales and adept client management, especially with institutional clients. This position demands excellent communication skills and a strong social acumen to cultivate and uphold robust relationships that drive continuous business expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies that promote the growth and expansion of our derivative brokerage services.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with institutional clients.
- Leverage existing relationships and cultivate new contacts within the financial services industry to enhance business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop bespoke brokerage solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
- Manage the end-to-end client relationship process, from initial contact through to deal closure and ongoing support.
- Regularly attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and stay updated on market trends.
- Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, outcomes, and ROI.
- Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure alignment in the company's strategic messaging and outreach efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience of 3 years (min) in a business development or sales role, ideally within the financial services or derivative brokerage sector.
- Established network of contacts in the financial services community.
- Exceptional social and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to plan and execute business growth initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
