We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will play a critical role in the expansion of our derivative brokerage operations in Cyprus. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a successful history of strategic sales and adept client management, especially with institutional clients. This position demands excellent communication skills and a strong social acumen to cultivate and uphold robust relationships that drive continuous business expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that promote the growth and expansion of our derivative brokerage services.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with institutional clients.
  • Leverage existing relationships and cultivate new contacts within the financial services industry to enhance business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop bespoke brokerage solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end client relationship process, from initial contact through to deal closure and ongoing support.
  • Regularly attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and stay updated on market trends.
  • Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, outcomes, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure alignment in the company's strategic messaging and outreach efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience of 3 years (min) in a business development or sales role, ideally within the financial services or derivative brokerage sector.
  • Established network of contacts in the financial services community.
  • Exceptional social and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to plan and execute business growth initiatives.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
