Job Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Set clear sales goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales team.

Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.

  • Sales Operations:

Oversee the sales pipeline/ reach out to new customers and ensure effective management of leads and opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing to generate high-quality leads and optimize lead conversion.

Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

  • Team Development:

Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide relevant guidance to the team.

Support career development and succession planning within the sales department.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CRM, Sales Management) is a plus.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the financial services or FOREX industry.

Skills:

Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
